Talking Trees

As crazy as it may sound, I believe the bare winter trees talk to us with their naked limbs. They reach out to the sky in all sorts of different directions. The morning or late afternoon sunlight hits them and brings out the silver look of the bark against a blue sky. Trees have personality and their branches reveal this to anyone willing to take a look. Some are scary, almost like a witches long curly pointer finger and others are simple and charming. Trees are like snowflakes, no two have the same branch design, not including those that are trimmed to perfection. I love the shade of the a fully leafed out tree but I believe their branches alone are fascinating to study.
